Deteriorating sewer infrastructure through a residential neighborhood.
CHALLENGE
Repair the cast-in-place concrete pipe using trenchless technologies with minimal disruption to the neighborhood and park. As one could imagine, Barrett Brothers park can be a busy park for the neighborhood kids.
SOLVED
SAK used GeoKrete to repair the sewer from end to end. The crew was able to bypass both internally and above ground, reducing the footprint in the neighborhood. GeoKrete application can be stopped at any point in the process and continued the next day. This allowed the crew to keep a consistent schedule in the neighborhood.
