KC SAK team hosts CIPP showcase
Posted August 20, 2019 | SAK in the News | SAK Press ReleasesSAK recently hosted a “KC Young Business Professionals” showcase for the Kansas Water Environment Association (KWEA). The event, “Donuts & A Demo” was put on by the Kansas Water Environment Association, more specifically geared towards the Young Professionals. The showcase was well attended with numerous consulting engineers and over 35+ business leaders from Johnson County Wastewater, Black & Veatch, Burns & Mac, Trekk, GBA, Jacob’s & the State of Kansas KDHE commission, as well as several other entities.
SAK’s team of Mike McIntyre, Brent Adams, Bobby McIntyre and crew did an excellent job of demonstrating the safe installation of a 30” CIPP liner as well as setting up a clearly marked secure area because not only were they hosting the group, this project was along a high traffic bike/walking path. Mike had safety PPE for those that didn’t have vests, glasses and hard hats which was quite a task. The SAK team was highly praised for their “performance”. It was a great day for showcasing SAK and our most valuable resource…the crew members that make it all happen.
