A road-widening project in Scottsdale, AZ left the 24-inch diameter sanitary pipeline underneath vulnerable to damage during construction.
Although located in the city of Scottsdale, ownership for the project fell to the Salt River Project, the area’s water and power utility. The Indian School Road Improvements were being handled by Achen-Gardner Engineering LLC. With several entities involved, the project would require SAK’s management as well as our construction expertise.
SAK installed a 24-inch diameter CIPP liner in the pipeline, strengthening it for the roadwork above and renewing it for decades of useful service to come.
